Fragments in writing -
A fragment is a non-sentence. A fragment is an attempt from someone to write a complete sentence, however, the sentence is missing something. Remember that a sentence must have three things in order to be complete:
1. A subject (the actor/actress of the sentence)
2. A predicate (a verb phrase)
3. A complete thought
