Remember:
1. A run-on sentence is combines one or more complete sentences without using punctuation to separate the thoughts.
An example of a run-on sentence: The employee was early for works she went to the cafeteria to read a book and enjoy a cup of coffee until it was time to clock in.
2. A fused sentence combines one or more complete sentences and uses punctuation, but not correctly.
An example of a fused sentence: The supervisor wrote and email, sent it out to the employee.
